Title: Mixture screw tuning???

Hi, thought I read a thread on here somewhere that you can
Change the mixture screw setting to get better performance!
Is this true? I have got mk2 golf gti 8v digi, I have also drilled
The airbox does mixture need to be adjusted for this?
Any help much appreciated as new to this!!

Better to leave alone tbh.  :smiley:

Also it is controlled by the ecu on a digi.

Ok cheers, is that bad? I'm after any advice on wot to mod on it.

Because you have digi, your airflow sensor detects how much air is being drawn in and will increase the fuel to match, to a certain extent anyway.  If you drilling your air box has increased airflow, the ecu will match the fuel.
