Title: Toyo Proxes T1-R or T1-S
Post by: minid0m on 10 April 2005, 23:30
The tyres on my MkII 8v Gti need replacing and after doing a search I have two tyres short listed, the Toyo Proxes TR-1 and the Toyo T1-S. Which is the beter? Or will I be happy with either? Grip and tyre tread are important, not bothered really about wear and tyre noise.

Looking at the two types on the internet, there is a £1 difference between the two. the T1-S looks the better, but which is the better?

Cheers Dom

have a look at this site:

The R is rated much higher than the S.

I have just put a set of Rs on my 16V and they have exceeded every expectation. Doesn't seem possible to stick any better tbh.
