what courses clutch judder??? i have a mk3 golf gti 2.0 8v on a k reg and the clutch judders when pulling off and how many stud should they be 4 or 5? and do they as standard have discs on the back? any help please cheers adam :laugh:

could be clutch cable is to old there self adjusting on them but i think you can buy a manual adjusting one from the dealers. Also could be the actual clutch is giving up is it slipping at all? and yes there 5 stud on gti models on mk3 and have disks on the back the pcd is 5x100 256 mm i think someone will correct me on that im sure  :smiley:

nice one cheers for your help yeah it does slip a bit the previous owner put new clutch cable on so it might be the clutch thanks for help :grin:

Check for any play in the engine mounts.

i had new cable and still did it then changed engine mounts problem solved seams strange but solved problem frunt one is easy as pie back 2 are not to bad but quite tight to get to good luck
