Cracking results and a very detailed (forgive the pun) step by step.
If I got my car detailed to that standard I'd never want to drive it again; it'd be parked up and displayed an an ornament. Top work.

I just can't help but LOL at detailing threads though. These boys take it worryingly seriously with their breakdown of everything they do and what products they use and why. It's almost begging for a parody of a detailer buttering their toast and deliberating on what knife, butter and plate to use and why.

Funny thing it is our 7th wedding anniversary this Sunday and, as always, completely forgot. Was reminded today at work by  colleague who shares the same anniversary date. I'd better book somewhere nice asap, or all hell will break loose !!!
The onus is always on us blokes, so sexist !

Neil: £160 for that amount of work is ver' cheap. Are you sure you did'nt barter some of your other services to keep the price so low? Anyway, Gary looks ready for another spanking.

I personally like to clean my car myself.

Part of the relationship if it's your pride and joy.

I also like to clean the car myself but these guys go the extra mile, and it makes it so much easier to do it yourself after all the sealers have been put on etc,
then its a Wash, Dry and a quick detail spray and voila

Blimey that's a great job. Very nice indeed Neil.

Been thinking of getting my car detailed proffessionaly as well. Funnily enough I've just moved house and round the corner from me is a guy on the GTI forum called 'Purple Haze' who's a detailer by trade (small world this forum). So his going to take a look at my car and give me a quote. £ 165 seems very reasonable.

When I detailed my wifes car, it took me the best part of 2 days, plus all the products. So I would say £165 is a bargain.

Fantastic results there Neil.  Seeing the 50/50 shots really show how ordinary washing can cause all sorts of scratching but amazing how these detailers can sort it.

I got my daughters car detailed with me working alongside them. Basically it was a personal training day so I could do my own detaining in future but got to use my own car to do the work on.

It was on an old 4 year old Clio but what a difference.  It was the best £200 I spent on a car.

Always fancied getting this done and at that price I would have it done, but I suppose prices will vary around the country.
Results are stunning though!
