Title: Roof Down
Post by: Sam on 07 July 2011, 09:55
Right, on my cab I can only put the roof down when the car isnt running/keys arent in it - this sucks balls. How can I change this so that the roof will go down whenever I tell it too aka, its a nice day but due to starting issues I dont want to have to turn the car off as it may not start again.

Had a look and there isn't a black wire, there is a brown en and a red un. May actually have to spend more than 30 seconds sorting this

Yes it is going to be more than a 30 second job.. You may have to trace the power wires from the roof motors back.  The spare, constantly live locations at the back of the fuse box is where you'll be moving the feed to.  Are you certain there is no black wire there at all?
