There's plenty of things i should have done leading up to my 30th(also plenty of things i shouldn't have done )
I've been dreading hitting 30 and it's come far to quickly if you ask me
So is this it now? Will i be going out and buying a brown Mondeo estate?Start smelling of wee?Start having afternoon power naps?
Ive always looked older than i actually am which i put down to having a really big paper round so im not bothered about that!
Suppose it's about time i thought about banging one up the missus and knocking her up......... :lipsrsealed:
Ive got a massive American/Custom car show im off too from fri-mon http://www.americana-international.co.uk/ which im really looking forward to as ive gone for the past 20 years. So im guessing i will spend my birthday p!ssed with some kind of burger grease on my top so it wont be all bad.
Anyway now ive done going on,Is there anything you wish you had done before you hit a certain age?Or something your planning to do before your 30?
I aim to have a 355 by the time om 40 which is very do able.
Finish the Golf by the time im 30.5.
Go on a fly drive across America by the time im 35.
I also want a sausage dog called Brian

setting goals for yourself to do by a certain time / age = DISAPPOINTMENT in my book.
Live life for today, making the MOST of it as you go, you REALLY dont know what tomorrow could bring

I wanted to own 2 have 2 cars a bike and a jetski by the time i was 25 and managed that.Wanted to own my own house by the time i was 25 too and managed that by 22.(even though i rent it out now but still)
My main goal in life is to get Vicky Butler Henderson to do that dirty laugh while im balls deep by the time im 30! :evil:Think i may be setting myself up for a fall on that one though

i found i enjoyed my 30's a lot more than my 20's... you really start to know yourself and your identity and relax about things a lot more

£30??!!

Tell me about it, everyone - and I mean everyone keeps banging on about my grey hair! Feck off!!!!!
I've just become a bit boring in the last 2 years! Very rarely go out on the pish anymore, all I do is go to work, come home, have dinner, come on the forum, put the little un' to bed, watch tv, and go to bed. The only enjoyment I get in life is fannying about with the car. Anyway lets put the violins away now, I need a new hobby!!!

I felt the same about leaving early 20's behind! Downhill slide to 30 now!
I want to do a fly drive across America too but aiming to do that hopefully next year so before 30 lol

one of my friends decided to do something with his life... he is currently on day 19 of his run across america

You guys make me depressed, I keep getting strands of grey hairs popping up that I keep plucking and I'm 21. I already have a little one and just bought a house which I think is an achievement compared to a lot off people I know still renting and living with parents at 28!
If you guys are missing out at 30 then I hate to know what I'm going to be like at that age.

How old are you now ? 50 ?
Re age.. it all depends on your certain lifestyle. A lot of my close friends are settled down married and do fack all..
Bollox to that - for me been out in the clubs all the time keeps me feeling young, and my GF is only 22 also so im still very much in the fold ..
im gonna go with Chuff on this, just live each day as it comes and dont worry so much

its not your age that makes you feel old... its the commitments you make on the way there
its up to YOU to find the right balance for YOU!

I am about to turn 40 this year (although no one ever thinks i am) I am just getting to the point where i think i need to settle down a little, i love going out but there must come point where you are still doing the same you always have but everyone else thinks your the sad old drunk that lives in the pub lol or you feel like you're double the age of everyone else in the club.
I also agree i think a list is a little to planned but my partner has her goals & a kind of list which is fine whateva works i suppose.
