Ok, so I'm not sure if this is the right section to post in but here it goes anyway. Basically I'm a employed mechanic in surrey and also a big vw nut. I've been wondering lately how much interest I would receive if i decided to branch out a bit and do some independant work, obviously focusing on cars from the VAG, and possibly purchasing a copy of VAG-COM. Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated, and i realise there already are places that specialise in VAG cars, but was unsure just how well catered for VAG cars are in terms of independants.
