Title: Smashed sad and gutted
Post by: jedimasterlewis666 on 06 July 2011, 16:50
my vr6 highline decided to slide out on me when going round the corner unfortunatley the audi a6 on the otherside got in my way and bang. i hate the rain.
insurance wanted to write it off and pay me a bag of nuts so i said no i'll sort it.
drove away from the crash just seemed to be front bumper lights grill slam panel bumper iron and os wing.
however on closer inspection because of the funny angle on impact it has slightly bent the front chassis.
and caused a little dong on the rad so the water gushed out.
smashed only 2 mins from work so managed to get it back before over heating.

now i have bought another 5 door highline and was planning on swapping a few bits ie exhaust suspension wheels a door and so on.

now with the old one is it worth breaking it all or just sell the leathers etc (easy bits to get out).
dont have to much time to spend taking it apart but if i can get a few quid back might consider stripping it.

how much do you think i can earn from breaking it so i know if its worth doing.
i have no experience of breaking cars so wondered if it was loads of hassle.
engine at 150k odb1 oringinal chains but not that noisy

what do you think guys

furthermore there is no power difference between odb1 and odb2 2 perhaps being slighty smoother lower in the rev range
