Title: mk3 anniversary seat reclining?

hi and thanks for looking! ive taken on my first project car and i'm finding it difficult to find any answers to a fault with my drivers seat? keeps slowly reclining also the "knob" on the side of the drivers seat keeps falling off! is it just a case that i need to buy and fit the new "knob" to the drivers seat?

sorry for dragging this out of the depths, but im getting the same with my passenger seat.

has anyone got any ideas??
