Title: Water Leaking into passenger foot well

I wondered if this was a common problem, or something that other forum users have come across?

My Mk 2 gti leak water into the passenger foot well. I have tried to find the source of the leak but cannot find it, any help or guidance appreciated.
For info, i have taped up the sun roof and have also seen water drip from a similar position to where the bonnet release level would be if positioned on the passenger side. I have had the leak a long time, but have also now noticed a large rust blister coming from under the front windscreen in the area around the windscreen wiper fitting.

Any ideas or guidance greatly appreciated

Have a go with the search function. It will explain how to unblock your drain holes.
