Title: got my new car, is it a pd?

so i got my new car and it is an audi a3 on 51 plate  :laugh:
it is a 1.9tdi 110, i was just wanting to know if its a pd engine?
i think its an AUZ engine

 i got it at auction so i didnt have a clue and it was a steal so am not bothered,
still be able to get some juice out of it  :laugh:

Remap on those should be 135bhp +  :smiley:

Forgive me ignorance with the dirty oil burners, but what actual difference is there with a PD and a standard injected diesel in the real world?

Yeah I know that, but what real world difference does it make? Why is it the better option and more sought after by those in the know?

the biggest difference is the amount of torque that they make and the pd is a far more tunable engine a simple remap will give you 170bhp and 280 ft-lb of torque  :cool:
