Forgive me ignorance with the dirty oil burners, but what actual difference is there with a PD and a standard injected diesel in the real world?
-
Injection pressure.
Delivery Method.
Generally the entire fuel system.

Yeah I know that, but what real world difference does it make? Why is it the better option and more sought after by those in the know?
Oh sorry to hijack the thread!

Quieter, quicker, better on fuel...

the biggest difference is the amount of torque that they make and the pd is a far more tunable engine a simple remap will give you 170bhp and 280 ft-lb of torque
