Are they 5 stud?
If not theres no chance, if they are 5 stud it depends on the pcd

erm , they are 4 stud, but there is 8 holes on the wheels, so they match other makes, i will find out anyway!!

I would doubt that they will fit mate, but if they do then great :grin:

Another question for u guys, what bhp does the 2.0 8v gti have and what bhp does the 2.0 16v model have , also what are the insurance groups, im only 22.
Im after a p reg sort of year!!
-
To be honest, I would have thought your insurance would be less on a Golf GTi.
My last car was a Mk5 Xr3i 1.8 105bhp with non-standard Alloys. Im 25 with 4yrs no claims this year and throught my insurance would almost certainly go up on the Golf. As it turned out, they only charged me the £10 admin fee to change as I only have a month to run.
I went on my insurers (Elephant) website to get some quote ideas for next year, and it was actually quoting me about £100 cheaper then they had been on the Xr, and I was even given a cheaper quote to go fully comp which was amazing. I've been with Elephant for the last 2yrs, and I can see me sticking with them again so it would probably be worth you giving them a try. I always shop around, but last year no one came even close to them, some companies even quoted double and insisted on a cat 1 on the Xr. naff.
I dont think you'll have too many problems if you've already been getting insurance on the Rover.
Let us know how you get on.

As for the BHP on the Golf, i've read so many different things I dont know what to believe, so i'd be interested if anyone could tell us the actuall BHP. I've heard that the 8v are 135 and the 16v 150-160. Anywhere near??

Correct on the 16v, miles away on the 8v. Figures for standard models below
8v = A barnstorming 115bhp :wink:
16v = 150bhp
VR6 = 174bhp
Statto strikes again ! :laugh: :laugh:

I am off to do some barnstorming anyone fancy a bit of roof surfing.. :grin: :grin:
Do i get the extra 3.5 bhp per sticker seeing as i have the two skulls cos mines running at 122bhp apparently,tho you wouldnt know it the peice of S*** maybe i should add some go faster neons in green... :angry: :angry: :wink:
-
Cheers for that, i think i will go for the 2.0 16v model :grin:
