Just wondering if anybody here knows how much the mk2 weighs?

depends on which model and any extras too. mines 1120kg, which is an 90 spec 8v gti with electric windows big bumpers etc etc, plus me and a bag of tools and sub etc etc

yeah i weihged mine sneaky at wokingham when we were there slug, mine was 1160 with a full tank pettie me and a toolbox a bottle of coolant a bottle of oil a bottle of water (all 5 litres) big bumper 5 dr 8v with mostly electric everything if i took everything out including me and the petrol i reckon it would be about 1000 give or take 20kg cos i dunno how much a whole tank pettie weighs..........
