Title: Now I'm pi$$ed off.

Most of you would think 675 pounds worth of mechanic would insure the car wouldnt break down. Few miles from my mates house, what happens? Yep you guessed it. Konks out.

Exactly the same problem it went it with originally, fuel not getting to engine due to fusebox.

So tempted just to try and get rid of at one of the shows or ebay. I would loose probably 1000 quid but im sooo pi$$ed of and depressed with dealing with engine issues i cant describe. :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry:

Fuel wont get to the engine. Either fuel pump not working, or more likely the fusebox/plug is buggered.
Got a lovely time of being towed to the garage on Monday. :angry:

Post by: Mr Blue on 09 April 2005, 18:22: I dont know much about MK1's but check the relay. Take the horn relay out and place that in your fuel pump relay socket. If the pump runs then its the relay hopefuly :smiley: It the pump runs then it should start

Dont worry. hope it gets sorted :smiley:

Im certainly not an expert with cars, so not sure what the fusebox situation was but i remember him saying he couldnt get hold of a plug.
