Can anyone please tell me if i can fit a KR head to a 2.0 ACE block just wondering because the shape of the pistons are different betwwen the ACE block and the KR block, dont want to bolt together and have bounceing valves lol.
many thanks in advance!

Nope I think you need to change pistons plus other mods. :undecided:
-
would it be as simple as swoping the pistons over or would it be better to just put the KR cams into the ACE head?
-
ACE dosent go as well on kr cams.
and before you swap the heads have a look at the kr's exaust port you'll soon change your mind
the 027 big port head has a crap exhaust port your better off with the 051 head unless your going to port the problem out ace has 051 head but cut out for higher lift cams

Confussed now what to do for max bhp output, i have both complete engines (KR/ACE both working perfect before removal) so able to swop and change parts at will.
-
i would use the ace cyl head, port it and reprofile the cams
you may see i bit more max bhp useing the std kr head on the ace bottom end over the std ace head but the sacrifice in torque isn't worth it imo
