been told to use one of these for a mk1 1.8t conversion are they bigger than the mk1 gti rads ?, and wheres the best place to get one thanks rob

Not sure if its the rad you want, but if it is you can get them new on ebay for 40 quid ish if I remember right..

Other way round me thinks.. Well MK2 valvers at least, think they are smaller than a mk1's and have preference over mk1s rad in your situation as they are smaller and probably give you more space to play with intercooler options.
