Title: Sainsburys deal on petrol this week

just spotted this deal:

10p off per litre if you spend £60 or more on groceries (instore or online) between today and sunday.
Best take advantage of that while you can. A bit better than the usual 5p off per litre from Tesco.

My car seems to like Tesco 99, only get 5p off there though.

Saw this in the MoneySavingExpert spam email I got today and was going to post it... decisions decisions, tesco club card points and 5p off or  10p off ... ooooo dunno what to do :grin:

my local tesco is pay at pump only, it's at 130.9 a litre, I normally pay 137.9 at texaco

Spend £60 at Sainsburys? Are you having a laugh?  :laugh:

I always find stuff way overpriced there so in fact you would counteract the 10p saving off a litre and add about £10 onto your shopping  :rolleyes:

Always shop at Sainsburys so this is good news! Will be brimming the tank on saturday after the weekly shop.

I dont know about anyone else but i just fill up my car at the nearest shell or tesco without looking at the price. Am i being wasteful? I always run it till the light comes on then brim it up.

Probably not TBH, if you stick 55 litres in then 5p off a litre is only a £2.75 saving. All the stations near me are pretty much the same. Filled up at an Esso last night at £1.31, shell was £1.33.

Well Sainsburys was 128.9p when I went today (Asda was 127.9p) so with the 10p off it was 118.9p/l.
Got £40 worth which cost me £36.90
Every little helps, even if it is the wrong slogan.

Tesco's are doing 15p off a litre :shocked:


But you have to buy some Coca-Cola, tuna and spend over £60.
