Where can I get those from for the MK1, 2, 3, 4 and 5?

You could dig around on the net for scans, or buy them on ebay - amazing trade in selling things that were free

bottom line is mk3 is slower than mk1 and mk2. but if you crash in a mk1 or mk2 you will die. mk3, you will just bounce about and walk away.

I actually wanted VR6 information. A friend has a VR6, says it's 170bhp and someone I knew had one that he says was 192, but some people say there wasn't one and others say there was.
My mum needs a car, so was thinking of getting her something that wouldn't matter if it got car park dings in it, yet would be fun, so I thought a VR6 might be the ticket.

My thread for mk3's http://www.golfgtiforum.co.uk/index.php?topic=121567.0

I have loads of autocar magazines from early 1980 onwards so if you need any more figures ask away and I will see if I can find them.
