Title: New GTD 3 door delivery Aug/Sept anyone??
Post by: ferris on 29 June 2011, 14:20
I have on order a 3 door GTD in Carbon Grey, manual, 18 inch charleston wheels, winter pack, dynaudio, parking sensors DAB radio
It has a build week of 25 so delivery can be from July/August (or wait til Sept for new reg).
I have put a £500 deposit down with the dealer.
My job has taken a turn for the worse and as much as it pains me, i don't think i can justify (or even afford) to buy a new car at the moment.
If anyone is interested in a new Golf but doesn't want to wait a few months, let me know. I'm sure the £500 deposit can be sorted out etc. so that i am not out of pocket.
I thought i would mention it on here before speaking to the dealer to see if anyone is interested.

Why would it be out of place in the TDI section the GTD is a TDI?

Perhaps he's trying to persuade GTI owners to change for better fuel con?

I think it was supposed to be sarcastic. Which, as we all know, would be a big surprise from Mr Compassion & Understanding himself.
I think he must've been blown away by a fast Diesel on the way to work this morning as he's having an 'anti Diesel' rant day. Or maybe, worse still, he had to go to work on Diesel powered public transport with all the commoners.
Or maybe his boss drives a Diesel so Kev feels the need to get one over Diesel drivers at every opportunity 'cos he had a bollocking for being sh!te at work.
Then again, maybe his venom glands just need emptying........

The GTD is the fastest car according to one (or two) Tiguan owners.  Maybe he should have appropriately posted in the Golf R section.

Sorry to hear about your job mate and thanks for letting us know the car is available. With the apparent shortage of fast Golfs at the moment you/the dealer shouldn't have too much trouble finding another buyer.

My sentiments exactly.
With the job, I'm sure you'll bounce back.
With the car, well, it's just a Golf at the end of the day and I'm sure you'll be back in a better position in no time.
