Tidy 3.5 there... very um... yellow  apparently the one of the safest colours to drive,
Welcome to the forum

Cheers mate!
Loving it with the weather at the min.
Got a few bits to do though>
Wheels (Maybe swap the one on it now for bbs)
Rust on the front wing
And redye the leather as it was stored in a garage with the top down over winter ,But the leather must have got a bit damp and there are black spots of mould here and there
The roof is not working. The pump turns but nothing happens (But in the boot around the pump has leaked oil so maybe a cheap fix)

Yep, perfect car for the weather we've been getting recently... shame about the roof though, seems if you've found a leak you've found your problem. Need to get that leak fixed and topped back up with more fluid... Hope its that simple for you anyway.

Hiya mate, Found the leak its a hose its slit so made a new bit just to make sure it was only that and now got a working roof lol, So am gotta pop into vw and see if they sell the part?!

Nice one, if you plan to do lots of bits and bobs on it from now on, it might be worth your while starting a thread in the Dub rides section as most people hang out there to oggle at what you're doing, give feedback and advise when you're stuck etc.
It can be found HERE (http://www.golfgtiforum.co.uk/index.php?board=45.0)

Great idea mate, I have started a thread in the Dub rides section this morning
