Title: 5 door styling ?
Post by: gazza1591 on 28 June 2011, 19:26
i have a 5 door gti and was hoping to smarten it up a bit with some new alloys and some sort of not over the top kit?
also lower it.

any one recommend one ?

any pics of 5 doors with a kit on it apart from the standard gti one ?

Depends how much you wanna spend with regards to wheels and lowering kit. Dont put a kit on it though!

Have a look in the dub rides, and projects threads. Plenty of inspiration about, but very few with crap body kits on here!

kits on golfs just look chavvy mate. mk3 golf looks its best with nice wheels. a nice stance then a few of your own touches.
kit ruins mk3,s
mines a 5 door and turns plenty of heads without a kit.

Clean low and minimal with clever styling touches seem to be the best way to go on mk3's.

Body kits are old news now, clean and fuss free is the way forward.

Kells' 5 door is my favourite <3

But smooth rub strips and slam it.

None of this bodykit nonsense!
