Title: Cooling fan!?

So bought a MK5 Golf GTi today and the cooling fan seems to be coming on quite often! Even after I drove it for a good 3 hours straight I left it parked for around 1HR and soon as I started the car it came on again!? Does this seem normal? It's been quite hor today, maybe an explanation!?

does the oil temp go anywhere above 90?

this usually means one of the 2 fans is'nt working.you should get it fixed as soon as.

No temp doesnt go above 90 and since the hot day we had with my 3HR+ of spirited driving the fan hasn't came on so touch wood its fine :smiley:
