Wow that is a very cheap GTI!
Jim
-
They've got the photo set mixed up !!!
Something that the photos are not showing for it to be so cheap - you going to take a wander down?
-
Thats very cheap
Is it just me being picky or does the bonnet not aline with the VW badge?
-
Read all about it, read all about it: Golf GTI in value for money shocker!!!
That's quite impressive considering the number of GTIs on forecourts about six months newer than that and ten grand dearer!!
Trade price plus a couple of hundred.
-
Bonnets are never straight its VW build quality you know
Im a bit worried to go take alook as we may end up with another GTI

It's basic spec but that can be rectified, even at base spec that is a bargain.
GET IT.....

2 previous owners in roughly 18 months with under 15k miles on the clock?!
I smell an accident with the car being off the road then sold on as somethings not quite right with it.
-
Glass's guide gives trade in of £16700 for average condition so that looks about right.

Yeah but we all know that VW prices and Glasses guide arent reflected on the forecourts.

It might be the first bargain GTI and a foretaste of price adjustments as the Mk6 is nearing the end of its life. It may also be a minger.
Anyone nosy enough to go and have a good snoop?
-
I thought it was going to be this Mk 6
R GTi when I saw this thread

WTF.... By the time spend a small fortune converting a GTI to an R you might as well just by one.
-
Its gotta be bent in someway, the bonnet is just the start.

Everytime I see a car that's been made to look like a GTI/R/M series I think of hte poor bas5t4rd that has had their car nicked and stripped to provide the parts. There is now way that these cars have genuine invoiced parts to make the replica cars that they are </rant>

Now I admit that I make the odd spelling mistake, but surely you would expect the add for such an expensive item to be at least word checked before it went out.
Also £14,000 for a Milltek? They must have gone up since I last bought one.

Wonder what a "fu kk service history" entails?!

LOL, the fuss is that it's too cheap compared to every other GTI of the same age and price, like they say, if it looks too good to be true, it normaly is....

Jesus is that how much they have gone down! Anyone want to work out the loss on buying a new GTi or will this go quite and or ignored.

I have no idea what you paid for your car, so lets have someone with the same year as the original post tell us how much they paid for it brand new. Or give me a rough price so I can do the sums myself

As mines a higher spec i would say less than 21K as there was ~10% discount then.
-
I don't think the depreciation on a GTI or GTD is any worse than any car out there.
You don't buy a car to make money do you?!
-
Got 10% off mine and then spent and am still spending a fortune. Now that's financial sense. Keeps me off the streets of fresh flesh.
-
That's it Asker - your spending a lot but saving even more in other areas :lipsrsealed:
Anyway, you can't take it with you so might as well enjoy it...
-
Ok, so it's late ......
Well, Adrian, I might as well spend my way out of recession as Gordon did.
-
The rear GTI badge is on the wrong side.
