Hi all, havent really introduced myself into the mk5 section quite yet. Had a mk4 for 2 years and now got myself a mk5 gt sport 4motion currently sitting with 147bhp.
Pic below... What alloys would look best on black? I'd preffer to stick OEM sort of styles.
These come standard on the 4motion.
Craig.

There's a 17" version of those wheels. They came on Passats and look seriously sweet.
-
The 17" version of the GT TDi wheels which came on the mk5 Jetta look great, and are in keeping with the OEM look.
-
Yeah I agree. However it's 18's im looking for. Was thinking the R32 styles?
-
R32 alloys look pretty gd, but ED30 alloys look even better!
-
Audi Fat Fives!
-
I was thinking about the gt sport alloys? but do they come in 18s? If so would they be reps? not too fussed if they are reps tbh.
Craig.

Do you mean the multi-spoke ones that look like a BBS wheel? They are 17" I think but there is a two piece 18" version that came on an Audi of some kind.
-
Ive seen an A3 S-Line with the ones u mean standard. My boss's ex car had them.
-
welcome to the mk5 section :smiley:the ed30 wheels are nice buts its finding a set for sale thou
-
Are they basicly BBS CH's anyway?
-
Yes they are craig, you could always look for the Charlstons which came has an option on the GT sport they are 18" and look sweet has, If I could find a set I would be on them asap.

i like multispokes
go for the r32's
-
Leave it standard mate, nothing worse than trying to make it look like something it aint......
-
The R32 alloys with the thick spokes look awesome on mk5s  Much better than the thin multispoke version.

Right guys, just back an hour ago from a long weeks trip down England. Went as far down as Bridgwater (Somerset). Got some pressed plates from dubmeister, some cracking girls in there i'll tell ya lol. Got myself some R32 thrase 3 alloys and tyres and another 3 brand new tyres for 280! alloys are fine, couple of little scrapes but nothing that catches ur eye really. Reps. 18's. Will get them on tomorrow and load some pics up. Done 1200 round trip and car had no faults, got down to Leominster (beside Hereford) on half tank visiting some family, that was easily just under 400 miles. Home safe and sound :)

My black one on LMs. Loved them but make sure you get 19s as the 18s look too small.

Hope this helps. CHs look good but I dont like the "ED30" wannabe look they give.
:edit: Just seen you already got some lol

Picked these up yest... Looks great imo. I dont like the out of original look like polished looking wheels.
