Hi!

just found this forum! I've just bought a GOLF GTI Mk4 non turbo!
Is there any tuning I can do to this??? Can seem to find much on the 125bhp GTI!!!!

Can someone please help!!!!

^^^ with difficulty.  The plumbing is all different to the 1.8T.

(I've got a 125bhp 1.8 GTI Too, and I've looked into this.).

Without wishing to sound defeatest, if you really crave a 1.8t motor, sell your existing car and buy a factory turbo, it will be so much easier (and considerably cheaper).

If you want more power than a filter change/'zorst and remap will yield in N/A engine then you need to look at swapping the base car for something with more possibilities.

The early 1.8 20v engine actually has one of the finest flowing big port heads around(race spec).Maybe some cams and put in a light mk1 and it would be alot of fun.
