Title: Removing wiper arms (non-VAG) ....
Post by: simc66 on 24 June 2011, 00:24
...so I said I'd sort out a friend's car - Corsa-C (meh) - usual problem with water getting into the wiper linkage and it seizing up.  However, I'm stuck at the first hurdle - the wiper arms are so rusted in that I can't get the b*stards out.  Any ideas?  (and I've tried the drenching-them-in-WD40 route) .....

Yep, they're so rusty they've basically welded themselves in

if so either heat up.. or get a wiper puller on them

Ah, will try the heat option - thanks :)
