Title: eBay coilovers
Post by: Jamin on 23 June 2011, 23:31
Hey dudes!!!

Me and the wife need some new suspension for our mk3 golf gti. When we bought the car we were told it was lowered on standard shocks with 50mm springs. The ride is,to the least, unpredictable so we took it to our mechanic who said the springs were standards that had been cut. Bad times

I've seen some coilovers on eBay for about 180. Are they worth it or is it better to stump up a bit more for a reputable brand?

Any advice appreciated

Jamin

They are ok for the money just don't expect mega quality.

My Mk3 is running on a set of jom coilovers and drives pretty well.

the previous set were made by FK and the ride was a bit too hard.

Mine are just the bog standard TA Technix ones.

They're fine.
