My beloved MK5 GTI has been gone for 8 months now  but I've finally got round to clearing out the shed and have a set of 4 brand new, genuine VW 18" Monza shadows with brand new tyres that need to be sold to make space. Does anyone have an idea of what they're worth? Have been out of the loop on the forum since buying my Passat so lost touch with demand for these.
Cheers all.

put them on your passat

With tyres? any pics? I can give you £300 for them without tyres, or more with
-
im also interested, £310

Think they are worth more than that. They are brand new and unused genuine Monza shadows (not refurbed) with brand new unused tyres just like they come out of the factory.
These cost in the region of £400 per wheel from the stealers and the tyres are circa £130 each.
Might just stick them on fleabay with no reserve, but the listing fees have got silly.
Or maybe I should just go and buy another MK5 GTI to put them on.......

I'd say you'd get £1000 easy enough if they are brand new, with new tyres.
-
Take 'em to GTI International and price them at £1200! See what you get offered.
They're probably worth about a grand, not many come up for sale at the moment so chuck 'em in the classifieds on here and on mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum
Ebay will yield the best prices and likely the quickest sale, but you'll have to deal with ebay idiots and ebay charges.

Last year when most bought their mk6 GTIs with Ronal monza shadows on, the going rate for new wheels/tyres off their cars was £800-£850. A couple of sellers asked for ~£1000 but don't know what they actually got for them.

I'd give you £800 for 'em.

Pics to follow. I'll offer them on here before I let eBay fleece me for listing fees.

Just sold my brand new Monza Shadows for £950 without tyres on ebay but got fleeced £70 in fee's!

Ebay fees + PayPal fees = License to print money.
Who wishes they had some Ebay shares?

Right then, pics are done! Check out the classified section if interested....

I'd give you £800 for 'em.
