i went from my dads nikon d2h (5mp) to a nikon D90 which i am loving so far. Most my shots recently are taken with the 18-105 vr lens which is a great versitile lens. Im dying to get a sigma 10-20 for landscape work as they make shots look epic!

need to learn from you on the potraiture front as my portait shots are stupidly bad! (unwilling models doesnt help )

You shoulda got on the boat and come over - Lymington's mostly full of the nearly dead and what lies on the other side of the ferry journey is far more picturesque.

good stuff  i really need to get out more to take some landscape photos with my sigma, awesome lens only annoying thing is the slight distortion when its at 10 but regardless even at 12 so much in view its crazy! need a new tripod first so i can play with my filters
