Hunderds of threads and plenty of people who have had on the spot fines so yeah I'm 100% sure
£30 for new plates or £60 fine and possible points on your license; I'll let you do the maths

deffo illegal
add in if your running a private plate and gut tugged twice for illegal plates ( be it font, make, spacing , bolts etc etc ) they CAN and WILL remove the plate
if thats not bad enough, it could then end up on a Q plate
I know these things :lipsrsealed:
-
always expect the worst, but a Q plate, seriously, where did you hear that?
-
from the nice polis man who was issuing me my 6th ticket for the same reg, albeit on the 4th vehicle. :lipsrsealed:
-
He was just scaring you, that would be very heavy handed to issue a Q plate, you would have to be a serial offender (sounds like you are) to get such harsh punishment.
but then if you listen to some conspiracy people, we dont own our vehicles once registered on UK roads (says keeper not owner on V5 for instance) and same with plates, property of DVLA, so they can do what they flippin like eh?!

very true, worst case scenrio, but hey, some people never learn, :smug:

sorry i read that second post wrong, thought you said no there no illegal.. my mistake, as i thought there not aloud due to speed cameras & stuff not picking them up? i got away with my astra gsi turbo having diffrent font.. same spacing & size as normal full sized plates just that slight more sharper font couldny really tell but i passed the traffic police so many times & never got nothing  was fly haha..
thanks anyway guys!

Keep an eye out on various forums as there's usually a GB going for Dubmeister plates; saving you a few quid in the process
