Title: California Scents
Post by: jimbooboo on 20 June 2011, 00:20
Just bought a California scents can from the shell garage and it smells awesome.. There's like 3 little blocks of scent in a tin so I've removed one and put it behind the heating vent and left the other 2 in the tin and it smells awesome when the vents are on...

i cable tied a cherry one to the blower inlet in the engine bay, then turn the blowers onto to 1st setting or let the motion of the car draw the smell in

The cherry is the most popular and tends to last the longest.  You can get some good deals on the scents as well both on ebay and at the shows.

I use to use majic tree's until they had some kind of reaction with a painted surface and then I read the tiny print on the back which says "avoid contact with anything"

you need to put a dab of water on the blocks once they go weak.

I stuck a load near the heater blower motor guard

Another better airfreshner is Autosmart

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Autosmart-Car-Air-Freshener-Bubblegum-Blast-Valeting-/300476978435?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item45f5d2d503

One spray lasts a long time.
