Title: cold running problem,8v gti digifant.

my digi has recently started having problems on the cold start.
when i start it i let the pump prime and then turn the engine over and it will fire but not start,but if i let it prime twice it starts straight away,but it cuts out again unless i keep a bit of throttle on.
it will also die if i put too much throttle on.

it clears after a Minuit or two and runs fine after that,and starts fine when its warm.
i assume its a fuel problem on the cold start but im not sure how to cure it.
also on the warm start it starts fine and idles normally for about 5 seconds then revs to 2000rpm and stays there for a Minuit or two.im not sure if its a related issue or not.

any suggestions?

Try a new temp sender as a 1st step.

Also when was it last serviced? Plugs, HT Leads, dist Cap & Arm - might need replacing...
