Hi All,
I have a Black mrk3 8v 3 door golf anniversary am looking to get rid of, was gonna scrap it but open to offers if anyones interested. seems a waste to scrap it
its done 112,000 miles, mot till december, taxed until september
ive had it almost 11 years and its served me well, needs some work done now mind you and has a few faults that ive not had repaired. hoping someone might wanna revitalise it.
bodyworks in decent condition.
reverse idler has almost gone though, ive put up with it for moinths
offside foglight damaged
air con isnt working cause i havnt had the aircon serviced.
back window demister not working
needs new lock on passenger door.
whats your thoughts, worth trying to sell or just scrap it?

na mate, i know how much its worth in mint condition but i know it needs some work so open to offers.
yeah i know bit of a trek to glasgow aint it......just would rather sell to someone who can fix it up, appreciates golfs and gets use out of it rather than scrapping it.

haha yeah i know, its just standard suspension mate, only thing ive modified is stereo head unit, took red strips off it mind you when i got it,

Looks higher than standard tbh

shockers were replaced in 2006/2007, about 20,000 miles ago

looking for between £400 quid and £500, have had 1 offer so far for the car, and someone offered money for interior bits and bobs i.e seatbelts, gear nob (decent money too lol)
selling for parts is last resort, would like someone to have it and do somthin with it, been part of my life for 10 years, good owner wanted haha

Cheers mate! Seems like such a bargain and Id love another mk3 but the trip to Glasgow is probably a bit too far, especially with the financial situation being very strained at the moment. Good luck with the sale, Im sure it wont be around for long. :smiley:
