Title: Mk1 Golf Annual Gathering - 22nd to 24th July 2011

Anyone on here planning on attending this show?

I really fancy going to this one. Not been before but it does look like one that I'd really enjoy.
I'd need to book the Friday night off so I'm just sounding out whether anyone else is likely to come?

Well I booked the time off last night.......not getting a very positive response so far but then I suppose it is the weekend.

Ah now come on... we don't hear much from you at the mo and you want instant responses!  :grin:

It's very close to Whitenoise and Money is tight... I reckon I could stretch it for a day, only about an hour away... Are you doing the weekend?

I'm on holiday unfortunately so can't attend... very much would have done as nothing better than a show full of mk1's!  :cool:

I was hoping to but then if there aren't many from here going then not so sure.
I had it in mind to combine it with a stay up at my parents place in Chesterfield for a week :undecided:

Well this place isn't exactly swarming with MK1's now though is it...  :cry:

This is true, problem is I don't really use the Mk1 owners club forum so don't really know anyone there either.
Might spend a little time on there and see how I get on. I'm certain there are a few members on there from here :undecided:

I'm exactly the same as you... I started posting my project on there as much as I did here when I started it, nobody really even looked at it there.  :cry:

There's always Guy, he's a member of both and he know's people on there too, maybe me and you should start chatting them up a a bit!....  Like I said, I still might be able to go... I'll see if I can do a full weekend if you're going.

I've now made the decision to not go. Two of my work colleagues have just handed in their notice and they are having a leaving 'piss-up' on Saturday 23rd July so that has swayed my decision. I'll keep an eye on the Berks mk1 meet thread and will try and pop along sometime soon :wink:
