Title: Rear Bumper/MOT
Post by: Len on 16 June 2011, 12:29
Managed to damage the rear bumper on my Passat!
Have refixed the two mounting bolts, but have a hole ripped in the top surface, its only small about 15mm diameter and its rough.
Will this affect the MOT?

What I was thinking actually!
Cut off the rough bits and a bit of black tape over it.

The regulation is to do with any sharp bit protruding or something like that.

Well there are bits of plastic protruding and I guess they could be classed as sharp, but its on the upper face not the outer edge.
