Spotted these yesterday, can't decide if they're cool or not.

But at £14k for a caravan it's questionable.

Fit and finish on that beige one looks ropey on the body but I like the concept. If I'd spunked £30K on split and then had kids it would seem ideal for extra space etc. It's a lot of money though.

Love it although pricey.. but then all camper and caravan stuff always is regardless of make or style.
-
Imagine how slow your camper would be running that behind too!!
-
Shawly it wouldn't have the power to pull that behind it.Devon and places like that have some prity steep hills which I don't think it would get up
-
in my eyes, anything thats dub-fied ITS KOOL
-
 I like them
-
I like it, but I'd half expect it to be selling ice cream rather than be used as an actual caravan.
-
I live in devon and i've seen a few of these around, they look nicer than the normal white boxes but the shed draggers still choke up the roads and impeded my otherwise swift progress. :lipsrsealed:

If I had the money and I had a splittie I'd be wanting one of these. Very cool imo.

Very cool imo. Obviously its gonna cost a fair old whack, but provided its looked after it will never loose money.

i like it, but looks a bit silly being towed by a motor home. especially an air cooled, they struggle to pull there own weight!
t4 or 5 ftw
-
seen one on the back of a t4, was wrong in sooo many ways
and lets be fair, if you spunked 30k on a van, and had the cash to the splash 14k on a matching caravan,
do you think they would be running a standard motor

good point, never thought of that.

Depends whether you're an OEM junkie-moron.
At that price point, some are.
This is clearly an uncool device, designed to ensnare fools.
It should do well in the VW camper market.

I think they are cool, but also help drive the price of splits up as you have to pretty much cut 2 up to make one....

You really think that's a reconstituted Splittie?
-
Pointless.
If your campervan is small enough to warrant a trailer, just get a bigger camper van.

Depeneds. On camp where dad works, theres a guy he got chatting to whose doing one from scratch out of a split.
Anyway we all know Jamie Oliver is the culprit for pushing the prices up.

If I could afford a split and a 14k box, I would stay in a 5 star hotel :lipsrsealed:
