Title: MK3 GOLF ELECTRIC WINDOW FAULT !!!!

hi all, ive got a 1997 mk3 golf gti 3 door.  :grin: however the windows dont work on the internal switches, but work when key is in door.
 :cry:  so any ideas ?? :nerd:

have you checked the switches? have you had the door cards off at any time? were they working before and then stopped to work? any noises??

Have you checked the fuse? They run on the same circuit as the electric mirrors, are they working?
