hi,

was driving fine the other day went to change into 3rd gear and couldnt after this i was unable to select any gears with ease i managed to find 2nd to get me home. changed the clutch cable today thinking it might be that as the biting point is really low anyone have any ideas what the problem could be?

check the gear linkages and bushes as these commonly fail  / wear out with age, judging by the fact you mention about changing the clutch cable im assuming you have an 8v?
