Hi all
Sadly I need to say goodbye to my GTi due to the ever expanding family (MPV here we come ). Just wondered what I should advertise it for and the best place to try?
It's an 09 plate (I believe one of the very last Mark Vs to be produced), black, DSG, 34k on the clock, just over a year's warranty left, with the following options: full leather, sat nav, multi-function steering wheel, bluetooth, iPod connection, rear parking sensors, cruise control, winter pack (IIRC), Monza IIs. Good condition, 2 of the alloys are slightly scuffed but overall good condition.
Any ideas on price?
Thanks

on a serious note good luck with the sale.
you should be close to the 10K mark i would imagine, not sure on nk5 prices though as they vary alot

09 I would have thought 12k at least. It's average miles But reasonably specced. If you are getting an mpv why not haggle on trade in?? Traders need to keep shifting stock!!

I'd shoot myself before selling it for 10 or even 12k  I've already been offered £13,600 from two dealers...

I'd be taking the dealers offer that seems pretty good

Hmm you think? I was hoping to get at least £14k for it....tbh I'm seeing 08 plates with just as many miles go for this kind of price?
£6k lost in 12 months, oh why do we buy cars

Buy an older one and save on the depreciation. From new or year old even and you see savage drop off. They get to a certain vintage and just sit there...mk2 800+ for good uns for example and what are losing? £19,000 and I'd be knocking several years off my mortgage
