 I found a link about fitting the gauges on this site (can'y find it now) but after i printed it off the author gives his e-mail address offering to answer any questions about the fitting and i should think your problem would be covered by him.Anyway his address is john.combes2@ntlworld.com. i will be keeping an eye on your answer as i don't have vortex console to fit mine in either when i get around to it...........good luck joe

ha ha i am now!! look at this thread for any info that might help

but as i put my stereo in place of my ashtray and had my gauges up in the stereo slot i didn't have to get round this. i wanted all the dials together, thought it would look better!
the votex centre consoles are available from www.swgmotorsport.com and will do the job but if you're handy with a saw/file/dremel etc then you should be able to cut away what you don't need out the back of the ashtray and make a panel to fit them in. at the end of the day all you need is a bit of plastic with 3 52mm holes in it and a way of fitting them to the console.
hope this helps or ask anything else and i'll do what i can!!
