Right, I know we aren't to keen on here on 'whats it worth' threads as most of the time its how long is a piece of string and look on various websites but I have some rare bbs wheels. In fact I cant find another set for sale anywhere other than in texas for $1k.
They are BBS CH's in 100x4 7.5 and most importantly 16". So... anyone have any ideas? They could do with a re-spray but would definitely simply touch up and the center caps would need new bbs stickers whilst you were at it. SO, any ideas??

I would say on ed 38 with scene points £500 to £600
-
I didn't know you could get 4x100 16" BBS CH to be honest. Worth a punt at 5-600 I suppose as they'd probably be over a grand new.

Thats the point, they seem to be uber rare but these are genuine so god knows :undecided:
-
You sure they're CH's, cos they were never made in 16's?
-
however rare they are...they look sh!t...£25 collected
-
Might be worth joining the Wheel Whores forum and throwing up some pictures of the wheels and the branding marks. Lots of people on there who would know. Plus they will probably give you scene tax prices
-
they would look sweet on my mk2  the real question is how much do you want for them or expect to get ??
-
No idea what they are, closest I have got to the spoke pattern is a ltd edition set of RE's made of magnesium

They stamped as CH's on the reverse? What did the seller list them as?
-
When I bought the car they were listed as BBS CH's and in the magazine article on the car back in the day they are simply BBS's. The numbers give nothing away unless people can interpret this...

Are you 100% certain that the PCD is 4x100? They look suspiciously like an optional Peugeot wheel.....
-

They look remarkably like TSW hockenheim R's or a copy of. Definately not an aftermarket BBS design but maybe manufactured by them for TSW?

Totally different wheel look at the lips of both wheels.
-
Right, I NNEEEEED to sell these now. Anyone got a frigging clue what the hell they are!!??
-
'Rare BBS 16" 4/100'
They look like some sort of dealer optional fit thing, from a Polo or somesuch.
-
So are we condoning the use of the word 'rare' in this case?

So are we condoning the use of the word 'rare' in this case?
Yeah because they're not even ebay rare!
-
Actually why not really embrace the ebay pimp style - 'Rare BBS 16" RS RC RF RM Air Max 1 90 Patta 4/100 sold out mint bargin'.
-
Just emailed rimstyle, the 'UKs BBS dealer' to which they responded 'I am unsure which wheel this is, we only deal with the aftermarket sector of BBS wheels found on Rimstyle.com but I can confirm that they are not BBS CH.'
Brilliant, cheers lads
Nehow... lunchtime challenge for y'all

Don't forget to put the word "NOT" in the listing such as "not 5x100" Because that's never annoying is it?
-
So,
*SUPER RARE* 100X4 16" 7.5 *MINT* BBS not 112x5, 100x5 114x5

Isn't that pretty damn helpful though? Not CH and not aftermarket wheels. Better than you have done so far

Not really, It was confirmed on my very first post that they were not CH's and i'm not suprised that rimstyle don't sell them...
I emailed him back anyhow asking him to forward my email to some bbs contacts he may have as a favour... the response was 'Unfortunately not, sorry'
-
So,
*SUPER RARE* 100X4 16" 7.5 *MINT* BBS not 112x5, 100x5 114x5
and the rest: not split rims, not bargain etc... Then everybody who doesn't want them will still find them!

THANKYOU MEW!
Not too sure about the 8k price tag though? Might just go for 2k
-
Still no closer to a model name or idea of price..... well, there is "There are wheels being sold on eBay from BBS that cost $8,000"
-
Search "Moda sport wheels" and you find a few ads on bmw forums, around $400 seems average from the couple i've looked at
-
Oh, and those ones that I linked to are up for $400 too

-
Ah yes, so someone has just switched the caps:

-
No UK sellers though, they seem to be just BBS Moda Sports from what I can gather. Moda's don't seem to be cheap nor are bbs :undecided:
-
A guy sold his for $150 here with tires

nd the most results come up for BBS Moda Sports, but don't think that's what they are called.
-
look like BBS Michael Schumacher's to me, I have a set, pretty rare apparently

They're these that I rocked on my old polo back in 94 as far as I can tell. And they were genuine BBS but aftermarket and can't for the life of me remember what they were called

And yes the car needed dropping

-
Call it 800 then yeh luke?
-
knock a few quid off and it's a deal, I also have a feeling they might not be the original center caps, as my set have "Micheal Schumaechar limited edition" if I remember correctly
