11 people have looked at this now :) what does every one use in their screenwash bottles that does not take the polish and wax off yet cleans the screen some people have said in the past fairy washing up liquid but that will strip my polish and wax off

I only use the VW stuff, £3.99 a bottle from the local dealer, it's better than most i've used and is great in the winter as it goes down to -70 when mixed correctly plus it smells like screenwash rather than lemons or washing up liquid which i like.

I've found that the Halfords stuff starts to smell like cat p!ss if it's left too long! hope this helps mate.

Halfrauds screen wash. Seems to be the only one that doesnt stink like beer after being sat in the bottle for months.

also use this...

i seal alot of glass with carlack kit and works wonders in the rain as when you hit above 50mph you dont need wipers on as the water beads off but will not clean glass with wipers lol just go for plain water mate, its only glass so cleans up ok with plain water, no mess needed when product dries then in the sun(we all know the feeling, of course this is good for summer but not winter lol)

Remember. clean/clay the window and then apply the cream cleaner to save time.

Then apply the liquid sealer.

Use and old but clean rag (dont use a tissue) to apply the liquid sealer. Only apply a very thin layer of the stuff and avoid paintwork or you will be in trouble!

leave the sealer on for about 10 mins then wipe off with a dab of water or quick detailer.

Bin the old rag after. Wont be fit for use again
