First off, I know some people will say that induction kits are pants, and that a good apnel filter in a standard airbox is the best, but I just like having that induction noise, and I always ensure my cars have great cold air feeds for their kits, so please don't post up tellnig me that they are useless - I'll take my chances!
So. I want to get a kit for my valver but haven't seen many fitted, or heard them.
I have only ever used K&N kits and always found them to rock. But is the piper kit or the green kit any better? Or any other kit?
Also, I hear that the carbonio CAI kit that awesome sell for the vr6 fits the 16v as well and although it's a very expensive kit, it does have that really cool pipe taking the filter in behind the bumper. Has anyone tried this?
Can I ask if anyone has fitted any of the major named or any other induction kits to a MKIII 16v and what you think of them?
And if anyone knows of a kit like the carbonio with the filter moved down in behind the bumper that you can get to fit the 16v, please do tell!

i've got the pipercross induction on my valver and although i dont really know if there is/has been any performance increase, the noise is perfect when it hits 3.5k
need to get a new exhaust soon

Well, I've just ordered my K&N 57i - £50 from ECP. I suppose I just wanted to stick with what I know....
What I might do is try and knock up an extension tube for it so I can re-position it below the inner wing.....I'll let you know how I get on.
I'm having a nightmare choosing exhaust at the moment - see my other thread on Milltek & Scorpion...still can't decide and I have to order it tomorrow!
Thanks anyway mate.
