Title: OOOOOOOooooooo Shiny Shiny!!
Post by: mowlamb on 11 June 2011, 17:06
The weather brightened up as the day got older so I decided to get outside and give old girl a really good clean. I'm like to add a few more bits to my cleaning product shelf yet but I'm happy with the results I got from my current products today. I started with a wash using Dodo Juice Born To Be Mild, then a thorough dry. I left it for half an hour after drying to make sure it was completely dry then used the new polish I got from Waxamomo. Dodo Juice Need For Speed. This stuff was really nice to use. Easy to apply and easy to buff off using my, also new, Dodo Juice Fantastic Fur Plush Microfibre. I then finished the car off with a layer of Dodo Juice Light Fantastic wax.

Here are the results:

This last pic is to show how dull my passenger rear door is and to hopefully get an idea of how to get improve the finish of it. I'm guessing a respray could be the only way but the experts on here may be able to give me an idea of other things that may work.

Any comments or opinions or other products I could use to compliment the one's I already have would be much appreciated

+1 Jetseal is a very good sealant.

Looks great - I'm a fan of born to be mild.  Been tempted to try a few alternatives but I can't see there being much better.

Has that back door been re sprayed at some point?  I'd be suprised if a good going over with a rotary polisher wouldn't restore it to the look of the rest of the car though.
