Title: lights on ignition

i knowticed today when i turn ignition on there is no engine management light
should this light up with all the others?

Yep shud light up on ignition then go out with rest of the lights hth

either bulbs knacked or its been purposly removed?

ill hook vag cable up next week see if its reporting anything

anyone know if these are easy to get to for bulb if req?

Could have been taken out as a result of a fault that previous owner cudnt be bothered to fix doubt the bulb has failed tbh

Early one DONT have a management light my 2000 AGU engine code hasn't  :wink:

its 2002 v5

just to recall i had an 8v gti 2001 few years ago and that was constanly on  :grin:

my year 2000 1.4 engine light was always on but my 2000 1.8t dont have one either not sure if its meant to be there or just not lit but ive no codes when scanned so not bothered  :grin:

V5 should have one as a guess, the bulb may have been removed.
