First check your oil level. If that's okay then it could either be a failing pressure sensor or more likely a blocked oil pickup pipe in the sump.

Would it be werth buying a new oil pressure sensor ? if so were can i buy these from without going to the main dealer also is the sensor located on the oil pan next to the sump plug ?

that's the oil level sensor, the pressure sensor is by the oil filter
i'd have it looked at before you go throwing cash at new parts. If it is the pickup pipe blocked you risk doing some serious damage to your engine.

Oil pick up pipe is not expensive.
