where is the isv on my 96 mk3 i can't find the bugger
i know what one looks like cos i had to clean the one on my mk2 16v
but my mk3 one seems to be missing has it changed shape
help it decided to stall tonight
did it a couple of times then was ok
any ideas chaps

no it hasnt changed shape..
on a valver its at the front of the manifold under a plastic thing that has the spark plugs leads running through it..
at a guess on the 8v it may be situated to the rear of the throttle body and plug in to the manifold around there?

hope you have your isv problems sorted now
i think it must have had some sh!te in it but cleared once the engine was to temp
the weather temp drop might have been the cause after being quite warm today and then dropping tonight
if i can find it i think i'll take it off for a clean
