Title: 1.8 20v turbo fault codes???

hi im new here, i have a golf 20v turbo, i have just recently had some issues with it and wondered where any of you guys could help?
i have had abs and traction control lights on the dash so plugged it in to a friends snap on ethos scanner and it found two fault codes;
 1. 17705 turbo/ throttle valve connection pressure loss
 2. 00283 abs wheel speed sensor, front left g47 electrical problem in circuit intermittent.

has any one else had these fault codes?
have tried clearing them which worked up until 5 mins into my next journey when the dashboard abs and tc lights came on again.
any help much appreciated  :smiley:

As for the abs sensor, probably a damaged plug and/or sensor, not expensive, just a bit of a struggle to get the old sensor out.
