measure from the lip of the wheel to where you want it to be, read the measurement, apply simple maths and add it to the size of your existing adapters

Generally, to sit flush with rolled arches at the rear you need a rear offset of roughly ET23.

53mm - 23mm = 30mm

I'd take some measurements though, it all depends what your arches are like.

I would switch to a 30mm rear adaptor, that should help.

Mine is in Johnnys pics too

mine are all 8j, i run 30 onj back and 25 up front arches need pulling to get low, you will get away with 25's on the back and get quite low with no arch mods, if you have the thinner 7j on front id go at least 25 too

u can get cheap plastic ones which i have a set of that i use for winter, quality is bloody good they were about 20 quid - tghese could be stolen tho, but for 20 quid who cares, mine never have been anyhow

I own a 944 Turbo.... and i don't like those wheels on them ( I got Carerra Cup wheels for mine) .

But they look great on the mk3!! What size tyres are you running? I might try and persuade the OH to put some her the GTI.

F17BAD (Brad) runs 195/45
i run 205/45
But we both have stretched rubber which were essential for the heights we are at
