changed the following!
fuel filter,
fuel pressor reg,
cleaned throttle body,
cleaned the idle contral,
new map sensor,
new plugs,
new ht leads,
new cap n cog,
+ nothing comes up on vag come for errors*
hmm im lost for words
-
is it all the time or when hot/cold?
Could be temperature sensor or a vacuum leak
-
hot and cold lol, thing is it i checked every hose and there was nothing leaking no rips or tears there practially new
-
Ignition coil is quite common to fail
-
true but would that cause it to jerk backwords n forwards at 3.000 rpm
-
My sister had a ibiza ABF and the coil went a lot on that, but often wouldn't start at all :undecided:
-
Please don't be offended by this but is it posible when it had the new plug leads they were put on the wrong plugs?
Just a thought.....

Unlikely, it would be running as rough as a badger!

not all coil failurers manifest in the same way. Coil would be my next port of call given what you've already checked and changed
-
LOL its running like a chainsaw now :O
-
Have you not changed the ECU relay? Mine was rough as and that was it.
-
mm ill try it and give it a go :)
-
oh man, that will be your problem!!
There is a thread around with all the info....
-
I don't think mani has ever done a search. This is the chap who wanted to twin-turbo his 16v
-
LOOOL yoo people i changed ignition coil still no luk :O
-
change your ecu and fuel pump relays. If that still doesn't solve it its going to get expensive!
-
:O thing is i did a compresson test n number 4 was low but not in the red i would say 3 psi of the normal 17 or 18
-
Just change the ECU relay........
it like £10 from VW... that is your problem..
-
:grin:it was the ecu replay but now my car reving up n down by it self i changed the massaire flow sensor 2
